Functions andOperations
(I) Generalfunctions
1. Power output (Start∕Stop)
The power output toggle switch is usedto connect (or disconnect) the DC output circuit of the power supply device. Turnit to "Start", and the device will output stabilized DC voltage. Turnit to "Stop", and the device makes no DC output.
2. Output polarity reversal
The output polarity reversal toggleswitch is used to reverse the polarity of the power output end. When the toggleswitch is turned to “Positive”, the red terminal at the power output enddelivers a high potential (+) and the black terminal delivers a low potential(-).
When the toggle switch is turned to“Reverse”, the red terminal at the power output end delivers a low potential(-) and the black terminal delivers a high potential (+). In this case, aprompt symbol "-" will appear on the left of the current and voltagedisplays.
3. Voltage adjustment
The “Output Adj.” knob is used toadjust the output voltage within the range of 0 ~ 15V. Rotate the "OutputAdj." knob clockwise, and the output voltage will rise; rotate the"Output Adj." knob counterclockwise, and the output voltage willdrop.
★ Note: In non-working state, it isrecommended that the output voltage be adjusted to the minimum (0 V) to preventworkpiece burning caused by output terminal short-circuit.
4. Power indicator
The "Power" indicatorindicates the connection state of the power input end (220 V). When the powerinput end is connected, the "Power" indicator will light up (see theinstruction on the back panel for details).
5. Voltage display
Under DC output (with the power outputtoggle switch turned to "Start"), the "Voltage" displayshows the DC output voltage (V). Rotate the "Output Adj." knob, andthe output voltage will change accordingly. If the toggle switch is turned to"Stop", there will be no DC output and the display in the"Voltage" window will be 0 V.
6. Current display
The "Current" display showsthe value of current flowing through the circuit during brush plating (A). Whenthe external load circuit is open, the "Current" display will alwaysbe "0" regardless of the voltage output value of the device.
★Note: During brush plating, the current is adependent variable, and its value depends on the working voltage, thecharacteristics, temperature and supply of plating solution, the anode size, and the relative movement speed among other factor.
7. Polarity of DC output terminal
Generally, the red terminal outputshigh potential (+) and the black terminal outputs low potential (-).
8. AC input switch
The external input switch on the backpanel is used to connect the 220 V/50 Hz (or 60 Hz) AC power supply. Push itupward to switch on and connect the external 220 V AC input. Pull it down toswitch off and disconnect the external AC input. When the power supply isdeactivated, the external AC input shall be switched off and disconnected toensure power safety.
After the external AC input isconnected, the power supply will be standby (the fan will rotate and thedisplay will light up). After that, the setting and adjustment of power supplyoutput and control parameters on the front panel will be allowed.
9.
Intelligent monitoring thickness
1. After setting the thickness parameters, the coating thickness can be displayed in a timely manner
2. The thickness alarm can be set. When the thickness of the coating reaches the predetermined thickness, the alarm will sound.
